Hi guys, I’m doing BMW CAS2 E8X/E9X all keys lost with Autel MaxiIM IM508S on bench. Connect CAS2 module & XP400 Pro to IM508S device, and put the key into key slot. Let’s get start.
Write key via dump >> Accept >> OK >> Europe >> BMW >> CAS2(Semi-smart key) >> MS9S12DC256C >> Operation Guide

Since I’ve saved the EEPROM. Let’s “Load Data” directly.
Autel IM508S is decoding, please wait…
Data loaded.
Select the key number to be operated and press “Generate Key” to start key generation.
Here I’ll select the unused one: Key10
Click “Make Key”.
Reading key informating, the XP400 PRO indicator is flashing…
Add a key.
Key number: 10
Click “Yes”.
Writing back key, please wait…
Do you want to save the newly generated file? Yes
Key generated.
Write back the newly generated BIN file into the corresponding chip to complete the entire “Write key via dump” process.
So there we go, now the Key10 was “Used”.
The key has been generated.
