Problem: I just got the new Autel MaxiCOM MK900-BT diagnostic scanner and was trying to diagnose a 2.0 VW Amarok Highline 2015. It can read the VIN but when I pressed OK to continue. It stopped and only gave the error: “VIN decoding failed”.
Doesn’t the MK900BT support this model?
Solution
Autel MK900BT can support to decode this car.
And we found the customer haven’t registered Autel ID until now. That may caused the issue.
