How is everyone entering the new protocols (CAN FD and DOIP) on the Autel IM608?
Autel IM608/ IM608 Pro will need to work with adapter while IM608 Pro2 can directly support. If you have a IM608 and need this function, then purchase a Autel MaxiVCl V200 or CAN FD Adapter will work.
1. Use VCI V200, and it adds DOIP and CAN FD
2. Use CANFD Adapter, and it supports CAN FD protocol
*It’s not recommended to pair Autel Tablet with VCI of other models, should work but no tests

The MaxiVCI V200 works perfectly with the IM608. CAN FD and DOIP built in – not tried it yet. USB C, plugged it in to the 608, clicked VCI and it updated the firmware. Paired it on Bluetooth when in a car. Saves faffing about with the J2534 and OBD connecting lead if you are just doing a diagnostic.

I’ve linked the vci200 to my 608. Beyond code scans and data i haven’t tried anything else. I use the vci200 on my 909 and the ITS600 (the vci came with it) and now on my 608. Just pair it in the bluetooth and your good to go.
